Job Description:
We are looking to hire a product-focused programmer who is interested in working with users to build tools to automate data & research tasks for analysts and data scientists. We are finishing the MVP stage of our datalake project and there exists a large gap between the potential of what is possible and what users can easily perform. We’re interested in both mid-level and senior candidates.
Skills and experience:
- Significant experience in statically-typed programming languages (preferably Go)
- Experience in containerized environments (e.g. Kubernetes)
- Comfortable working on the CLI, as our OS is Linux/MacOS
- Solid git skills
- Passion for working with users to discover the underlying issues and their solutions
- Some UI/UX experience in building internal tools
- Enjoy being deeply involved in product decisions
- Deliver short-term, high-impact projects
- Solid python knowledge is a big plus
- Fluent in spoken and written English
