Overview
TechConnect Global is currently looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer for a leading ML company based in Vienna.
Are you a passionate DevOps Engineer, interested in implementing integrations requested by customers, deploying updates and fixes and providing level 2 technical support?
Your role:
- Design, implement and document software integrations requested by customers
- Alignment of Designs with Architects and Product Managers
- Driving the ongoing migration of our systems from our existing public cloud provider to Red Hat Openshift
- Supporting the ongoing enhancement of our Software Coding Standards and Software Development Processes
- Build Tools and Scripts to enhance our CI/CD-Pipeline
- Execution of end-to-end test in line with the overall release process
- Maintaining and enhancing our test automatization in line with feature development
- Problem and Root-Cause-Analysis as part of our 2nd-Level-Support
Your profile:
- You have work experience of more than 2 years for Red Hat OpenShift, Apache Kafka, Postgres DB, Javascript
- You have a solid understanding of designing and developing complex backend applications on OpenShift
- You have a strong understanding in server architecture with NodeJS and Express
- You have experience in managing and supporting large scale deployment of such technologies
- You have knowledge about databases (SQL & No-SQL) and hosting
- You have prior experience in applications supporting high transaction systems and OpenShift
- You have knowledge/experience in Containers
- You have experience with deploying and managing microservices using container orchestration platform such as Kubernetes and OpenShift
- You have a good exposure to DevOps principles, CI/CD and Continuous Deployment Pipelines
- You have hands on experience on OpenShift or Kubernetes set up installation & administration
